MOT Tester/Diagnostic Mechanic

Cumbernauld Auto Repairs Ltd is a family run independent garage based in Wardpark, are seeking another staff member to join our team carrying out MOT’s, general maintenance, and repairs across the full range of different makes and models of car and light vans.

The business has been growing year on year, and we need another team member so we can continue to provide the best possible service to our customers.

The successful candidate to this permanent position will be Level 3 qualified and a Class 4 MOT Tester.
Experienced in general repairs across a range of cars and light good vehicles.
Extensive fault diagnostics are required and will form a primary part of the role, along with MOT Testing.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers is essential.
A keen team player and a vision to progress with skill set and modern advances in motor trade.
Full UK Driving licence.
Potential to eventually progress through the organisation for the right individual is an option.

Full-time Pay: £34,125.00 to £37,050.00 per annum dependent upon experience.
Equivalent to £17.50 to £19.00 per hour.
Benefits include 25 Days paid holiday plus public holidays or equivalent as agreed.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.30pm, with a 1hour unpaid lunch break, equalling 37.5 paid hours weekly.
Premium Overtime Rates may be available on evenings or Saturday Mornings.
